Wednesday Gaming – Mortal Kombat 1, Lenovo, Final Fantasy and MORE!

– The pre-order beta period for “Mortal Kombat 1” will begin on 18 August. Both Xbox X|S and PS5 players who pre-ordered the game will be able to participate in the beta-testing stage before it officially launches on 19 September 2023.
– The beta period will feature six playable characters – Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Kitana, Li Mei, Liu Kang and Sub-Zero – and four Kameo fighters: Frost, Jax, Kano and Sonya Blade.
– Major compu-tech company, Lenovo, is reportedly developing a handheld, PC-compatible gaming device called Legion Go, which will be similar to Valve’s Steam Deck and ASUS’ ROG Ally.
– According to Nightdive Studios, their plans to release a remastered version of “SiN: Reloaded” have been cancelled due to their commitments to developing other titles. However, they aim to resume the project “at a later date.”
– Naoki Yoshida, director and producer of “Final Fantasy XIV”, says that he is open to creating an anime or live-action series based on the game. However, he won’t be able to pursue such a project at this time due to his current commitments, which include developing expansion packs for the popular MMORPG.
